Meet Marissa
I’m an artist, a dog mom, a fiance to my wonderful partner, Cory, hockey fanatic, five-time-skydiver and I can make a mean cocktail. Most of all, I can’t believe this is my life and that I get to share parts of myself with freaking incredible couples like YOU.
Alright, I’ve said enough–time to tell me about you!
I became rapidly addicted and enamored with the art form of wedding floristry; working with my hands is my therapy, and seeing something that I build come to life for another person is my reason. We can all agree that flowers are pretty and they light up a room, but I’d say that my flowers become true works of art as soon as you two enter a space that was made just for you. There’s magic in that.
I got myself a mentor and learned all there is to know about flowers in the wedding industry. Everything from floral care and prep to customer service, right down to good business practices and general logistics of helping with a wedding day (I promise you, wedding florists are a different breed of crazy).
I started in the service industry as a bartender, believe it or not (10 years of regulars, hard but rewarding days, and crazy stories that I’m sure MANY of you can relate to!), so long hours on my feet are nothing new. I can be a pretty spontaneous person though, and even after ten years, I always searched for bits of fun and whimsy in everything–somehow, florals became my art form.
I'm in love with what i do.
My clients are dreamers and just RIDICULOUSLY excited to get married. They trust me implicitly.
I want my clients to know that I will take care of them! And make the process EASY.

“Artist Brain” can sometimes be associated with lackadaisical attitudes or an indifference to timelines and structure. While there is definitely plenty of artistry in what I do, that’s not the case with Wildflower & Willow. I strive to make the process EASY for you and your partner–and that comes with streamlined client portal services, regular communication, organized and easy to follow invoice breakdowns, and establishing a clear plan on what you want for your event through actual visuals. Your experience here is garunteed to be that healthy dose of organization mixed with devastatingly stunning, creative floral scapes. The summary: I CARE. A lot.
Do you offer mentorships?

Will you travel?
Do you include setup/ breakdown in your packages?
In my all-inclusive package, setup, breakdown, and ceremony space flip is included, as well as any vases needed for your display.
Please note that clients will be responsible for providing specifically styled vases if they do not wish to use the vases provided by Wildflower & Willow.
